Smith No. 3 Grade 12 Gauge Double-barrel Shotgun, c. 1901, serial number 5018, walnut stock with checkered forend and grip, case hardened frame, left plate engraved with a pair of quail in a field scene inside an oval, the right plate engraved with a pair of woodcocks in a field scene inside an oval, both plates marked "L.C. SMITH," blued barrels with textured rib marked "HUNTER ARMSCO. FULTON, NEW YORK.," overall lg. 41 1/2 in.
