William Evans Rook Rifle, c. late 19th century, serial number 12346, .250 caliber, walnut stock with checkered wrist and forend, frame lightly engraved with foliate designs, with some remnant color case finish, marked on the left and right side of the frame "WILLIAM EVANS," marked on the top of the barrel near the breech "WILLIAM EVANS/63. PALL MALL. ST. JAMES, LONDON.," barrel lg. 26, overall lg. 42 in.

Receiver retains much of the color case hardening, and blueing is mostly intact on the barrel.
