French Champleve Shelf Clock, France, c. 1890, brass case with champleve caddy top, front panel, dial center, freestanding columns at corners and lower frieze, gold-tone arabic numeral dial marked for the retailer Bailey Banks & Biddle Co., Philadelphia, eight-day time and strike movement regulated by a pendulum, ht. 17 in.

loss and wear to original gilding on brass, the champleve is in overall good condition but detail is not crisp.
