French Gilt Figural Mantel Clock, c. 1850, an embracing couple dressed in Middle Eastern garb seated on a rocky outcropping with the 3-in. porcelain dial in the center, floral- and swag-decorated bombe-style case terminating in an oxbow-shaped base, eight-day time and count wheel strike mechanism with silk thread suspension, ht. 16 in.
