Mahogany Freisland Wall Clock with Automata, Netherlands, c. 1825, the painted roman numeral dial with applied pressed brass spandrels depicting the four seasons, floral center and automata in the arch depicting a playground with two children on a teeter-totter, a lad swinging on a rope tied to a tree, and another child riding a wooden horse, brass-posted frame movement with anchor escapement, count wheel strike and moving automata in the arch all powered by a brass-cased weight, ht. 51 in.
