Robert Welsh Japanned Longcase Clock, Dalkeith, Scotland, c. 1775, the raised flat top over the glazed hood door and composite brass dial marked on the name boss Rob. Welsh/Dalkeith, roman numeral chapter ring engraved center and cast brass spandrels, and waist door with japanned decoration all on a raised base, eight-day time and strike movement with two weights and pendulum, ht. 87 in.
