Brass-barreled Flintlock Blunderbuss and Pistol, England, 18th century, blunderbuss with walnut stock and brass furniture, lock marked "BLYTHE" below the pan, overall lg. 31 1/8; and a pistol with brass grotesque mask butt cap and shaped escutcheon, overall lg. 11 in.
Provenance: Blunderbuss acquired from Roach's Sporting Goods, Inc., Cambridge, Massachusetts, May 8, 2008.

Blunderbuss has a restored and brocken forend, the pistol ha a restored forend and replaced top jaw and screw, and cock.
