Chainmail Byrnie or Shirt for Mounted Troops, possibly Indo-Persia or the Sudan, 17th to 19th century, constructed of 3/8-in. round pin rivet links, the shirt has collar, open slit below the neck, and slit at the lower front and lower back, sleeves approx. lg. 16, overall ht. 34 in.
