Holland & Holland Underlever Hammer Rifle, 1886, serial number 8813, .500 3 1/4 caliber, walnut stock checkered on the forend and grip, and an oval gold escutcheon on the underside, lockplates with engraved border marked "HOLLAND & HOLLAND," the left side of the frame engraved "CHARGE 5 DRAMS CASE 3 1/4 INCHES," the blued barrels with textured rib and leaf sights for 200 and 250 yards, engraved on the barrels "HOLLAND & HOLLAND 98 NEW BOND STREET, LONDON" and "WINNERS OF ALL THE "FIELD" RIFLE TRIALS, LONDON, 1883," overall lg. 43 in.
