Two Framed Colored Mezzotints: Destruction de Babylone and Le Festin de Balthazar. Titled in the plates l.c., inscribed in the plates "Peint par Martin" l.l. and "Gravé par Jazet" l.r. Sight sizes to 21 3/4 x 30 1/4 in., framed. Condition: Toning, not examined out of frames.
N.B. These two works were engraved by Jean-Pierre-Marie Jazet (French, 1788-1871) and published by Goupil, Vibert & Cie, Paris. A firm with the name Goupil, Vibert & Cie was active from 1846 to 1850.
