N.B. A large-scale commission of this sculpture was executed by the artist for the United States Navy Memorial in Washington, DC, to honor all those who have served at sea. There are several other reproductions of this work, including one that was commissioned for Norfolk, Virginia, to stand by the U.S.S. Wisconsin.
