Description:
Four Meissen Porcelain Figures, early 20th century, each polychrome decorated, three with putti: one delivering letters, a figural group with torch, and putti working at a lathe; and one with a male musician playing a fife; each with blue crossed swords mark, ht. 3 1/2 to 5 3/4 in.
Provenance: Property of the Saint Louis Art Museum; sold to benefit the acquisition fund.

Putti with letter: one arm, two letters and head restored.
Putti sharpening arrow: one wing restored; heavy losses to leaves and to attachment of foot pedal.
Two putti group: end of torch broken; end of bow and one finger to each of two hands missing.
Figure playing horn: repair to drum stick.
