Russian Gold and Enamel Snuff Box, bearing rubbed marks for St. Petersburg, late 18th century, the lid with an inset painted glass medallion depicting fisherman in a boat on a river, offset by trailing enamel-accented leafy tendrils and simulated pearls, with pale blue guilloche enamel to the sides and base, dia. 2 3/4 in.

Painted surface lifting from glass in areas (see images). Minor scattered losses to enamel accents (particularly to base, all fairly minor and unobtrusive). Otherwise in good overall condition.
