Description:

German Silver Wedding Cup, Hanau, late 19th/early 20th century, bearing unknown pseudo marks, after the antique form, with a bearded man in a repousse skirt holding aloft a gimbaled cup, ht. 11 in., approx. 13.2 troy oz.
Estimate $300-400

One pin to hinged cup replaced (brass/ protrudes from position on support). Small repair to figure's left hand where hand meets support, with related small break to decorative scroll (both fairly unobtrusive), otherwise with only light surface wear/minor abrasions consistent with age.)
