Signed "Grant Wood" in pencil l.r., collector's stamps from Frederick Gamet Rice of Fitchburg, Massachusetts (Lugt, 1042a and 1042b),to lower margin. Lithograph on wove paper, image size 9 x 11 5/8 in. (22.8 x 29.8 cm),matted, unframed.
Condition: Full sheet with deckled edges, subtle soiling marks at peak of roofline.
N.B. The sale of this lot will benefit the Worcester Art Museum, Worcester, Massachusetts.

The marks imply a subtle shadow, but don't seem to appear in other impressions of the work. Sheet measures 11 5/8 x 16 3/8 inches. Unobtrusive pinpoint fox marks in margins u.r. and l.c. and in image l.l. Ex-collection Frederick Gamet Rice (collector's stamps l.l. and l.r.). No additional issues to report.
