Winter in Wellfleet
Signed "MOFFETT" l.l., titled and signed in pencil on the stretcher, identified on a label from Acme Fine Art and Design, Boston, affixed to the back of the frame, oil composition painted over but faintly visible on the reverse.
Oil on canvas, 24 x 36 in. (60.5 x 91.5 cm),framed.
Condition: Subtle surface grime.

With a partial typed label tacked to the stretcher including the abbreviation "N.Y." and the dates 1951 and 1952 on different lines.

The reverse appears to have had a coastal view with a row of houses, a dock, and boats, now overpainted.
