Josiah Johnson Hawes (American, 1808-1901)

King's Chapel, Boston, 1860. Unsigned. Albumen silver print mounted to board, diameter 6 1/8 in. (15.5 cm),matted, unframed.
Condition: Fading, subtle water spots or similar in the margin c.l., the sheet is detaching from the board l.c., 1 1/2 in. loss in the sheet l.c.
Estimate $1,200-1,800

Mount measures 8 x 7 1/2 in. (20.3 x 19.0 cm). There is a partially torn tax stamp affixed to the mount verso at the center.
