Two-sided "JOHN PHELAN" Tavern Sign, America, late 19th century, shaped sign with concave cut edges, centering a polychrome depiction of a frothy mug of beer against a tan background with gilt banded border flanked by vertically lettered "JOHN PHELAN," with wrought iron hanging brackets, (weathered surfaces),ht. 42 1/4, wd. 61 1/4 in.
