laid down on card, foxing concentrated in sky, repaired 4 inch tear in upper left quadrant from top edge, large repaired tear from top edge in upper right quadrant ending in an area of losses at right rear of the composition, 2 inch tear through inscription from lower edge, minor holes and losses elsewhere, staining and toning, trimmed along top edge.
