Two Pewter Porringers, Gershom Jones, Providence, Rhode Island, c. 1774-1809, the pierced handles stamped on the top with Jones's mark, on one consisting of a lion flanked by "GI" in a circle, the other consisting of a fouled anchor on a shield in an oval cartouche, ht. to 2, dp. to 8 in.
