Description:

German .800 Silver Basket, Hanau, late 19th/early 20th century, unknown maker's mark, the oval reticulated dish with rocaille cartouches and pendant floral garlands to rim and a chased scene of a couple in a bucolic landscape to interior, lg. 15 3/4 in., approx. 28.3 troy oz.
Estimate $300-500

In good overall condition with only one very small, stable break to reticulated frame (unobtrusive) and slight surface wear. One foot bent very slightly (with related rocking).
