Cream-colored Earthenware Dessert Plate, England, c. 1765, probably Staffordshire, scalloped rim to a press-molded body with trellis "pavement" fretwork, the rim with fruit festoons, allover translucent glazed in slate blue, green, and brown, dia. 9 1/2 in.
