Pal Fried (Hungarian/American, 1893-1976)
Three Bathers Under a Crescent Moon. Signed "FRIED PÀL" l.r. Mixed media on paper, 15 1/8 x 10 in., framed. Condition: Restored tears to u.r. corner and to c.r. margin, hole to l.r. corner, creasing, minor loss to sheet at l.r. corner, toning, affixed to window mat at the corners.

Media appears to include graphite, crayon or pastel, and perhaps colored pencil. Paper is thin and somewhat fragile.
The hole is located just below the right elbow of the reclining figure, and its diameter is 3/8 in. (Damaged area is 1/2 inch diameter, including the abraded area around the hole).
Framed dimensions are approximately 26 x 20 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches.
