Portrait of the Mistress
Signed and dated "Stephenson/1935" l.l., identified and inscribed on the reverse.
Oil on canvas, the vessel cruising off the coast, 21 x 28 in., in a giltwood frame.
Condition: Nine small patches to reverse with associated retouch.

Note: The Mistress, captained by George E. Roosevelt, was flagship of the Cruising Club.
