American Midshipman's Dirk, c. early 19th century, turned ivory grip, gilt eagles on the handguard, etched double-edged blade, and an etched brass scabbard, blade lg. 6 3/4, overall lg. 10 1/4 in.

Grip has some light cracks, missing most of the gilt, but in good condition.
