Silver and Amber Master Brooch, Georg Jensen, designed as foliate and bud motifs set with and suspending amber cabochons and drops, with green agate cabochons, no. 96, 3 3/4 x 2 1/4 in., signed GEORG JENSEN S826 G with superimposed J, and Gi, Denmark.
Note: Pictured in Georg Jensen: A Tradition of Splendid Silver, by Janet Drucker, p. 95. Drucker explains that brooch no. 96 is "referred to as a 'master brooch' ...because it is larger than most other brooches and probably took more time to complete."

Central drop has been detached and reattached, possibly to replace amber bead which is darker than the other amber pieces. Light crazing to all amber. Two beads with shallow chips at bottom. Tarnish.
