Condition: Lined, minor retouch, craquelure, minor abrasions.

Lined onto a solid support backed with linen canvas and stretched onto a new stretcher.

Prominent but stable craquelure, with minor retouch over the craquelure in the figure's forehead. Abrasion along the bottom of the composition, more visible at the outer edges but running the full width of the painting. Frame abrasions beneath the inner edge of the frame.
