Condition: Retouch, revarnishing, areas of possible skinning, fine craquelure, minor surface grime.
N.B. This pair of paintings was reviewed via digital photographs by Ellis Dullaart, Curator of Dutch and Flemish Old Master Painting at the Nederlands Instituut voor Kunstgeschiedenis (RKD),upon whose expertise the paintings have been described and dated to the second half of the 17th century.

Frames inscribed "P. woverman/Breda" on the back in a later hand.
