A fine classical guitar by Robert Bouchet highlights the May Fine Musical Instruments auction of 250 lots, including Ned Kendall’s Sibley keyed bugle, a Powell flute owned by William Kincaid, one of twelve 19th Century “Apostle” cases produced by W.E. Hill & Sons, and a screen-used J&A Beare violin from the 1998 film The Red Violin. The auction also presents a selection of vintage C.F. Martin acoustic guitars, as well as stringed instruments and bows from notable makers such as Lucci, Rombouts, Forster and Fetique.
