Jones, John Paul (1747-1792) Signed Receipt, Philadelphia, 17 July 1783. Small sheet inscribed in a secretarial hand, brown ink, to John Ross for the sum of 100 dollars, signed, "Paul Jones," trimmed, with truncated inscriptions on the verso, and bits of red sealing wax, some foxing, with two portraits, the receipt 7 x 2 3/4 in.
