Description:
Beauregard, Pierre Gustave Toutant (1818-1893) Autograph Letter Signed, London, 10 July 1866. Two leaves each inscribed on the recto side only. To a Mr. Schwartz of Liverpool, describing an upcoming trip from London to Paris and arranging for the management of 600 pounds. Old folds, first leaf toned with slight discoloration along a vertical fold, 7 x 4 1/2 in.
In July of 1866, Beauregard was president of the New Orleans, Jackson and Great Northern Railroad, and may have been on the continent for business.
