Petite Sonnerie Carriage Clock, France, c. 1890, retailed by Frank Herschede Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, gilt-brass and beveled glass case, enamel Roman numeral dial marked for retailer, eight-day time and petite sonnerie strike with repeat on demand, strike/silent lever on back plate, all regulated by a silvered platform escapement, ht. with handle extended 6 1/2 in.
