Creamware Sugar Bowl and Cover, England, c. 1775, probably Yorkshire, the melon-like circular bowl with scalloped rim and double ropetwist handles, floral knop, polychrome enamel decorated with feather tip edging bordering puce floral sprays, overall ht. 3 3/8 in.

Bowl: 1/4" chip to rope of one handle; top rim with svereal edge nicks and small chips; one scallop with a 1/4" chip, two with areas of glaze loss.
