Two Pairs of Pewter Lamp Vases and Wall Vases, China, 20th century, the lamp vases, hexagonal baluster-shape with waisted neck and splayed foot, on openwork stands, electrified, mounted with a brass single-socket lamppost, each sides decorated in brass with figural designs to body, floral motifs to the neck and foot, lamp ht. 13; and the wall vases, baluster flask-shape with trumpet-shape mouth and waisted foot, inlaid in brass with figures to body and a floral motif to neck, "China" mark on base, ht. 8 1/4 in.
Provenance: The pewter collection of Ruth Raymond, Beacon Hill, who began collecting in the 1940s.
