Large Famille Jaune Dish, China, late 19th century, shallow dish-shape, resting on a short straight foot, the interior decorated with auspicious symbols, flowers, and scholar's accoutrements both in roundels and on a yellow ground filled with foliate motifs in anhua, a roundel design with two characters "shou" and "fu" in the well, the rim with a meander band, the exterior with three fencai-enameled lotus floral sprays, gilt details, six-character Tongzhi mark on base, dia. 11 in.
