Pair of Famille Verte Bowls, China, 18th/19th century, upturned bell-shape with slightly everted rim, resting on a raised straight foot, both the interior and exterior depicting romping horses against a green ground decorated with swirls and white prunus flowers, a band of meander design around the interior rim and the foot, six-character Jiajing mark in a double ring on base, with carved openwork wood stands, ht. 3 5/8, dia. 7 5/8 in.
