Painted Chalk Alms Holder, late 19th/early 20th century, the figure of a black woman dressed in a turquoise gown holding a shell-shaped tray with a coin slot seated on a grassy mound on a pedestal base with the stenciled inscription "FOR OUR/MISSIONS," her head nods as coins are dropped through the slot, (imperfections),ht. 13 1/2, wd. 4 1/2, dp. 7 3/4 in.

Paint wear and minor losses, hairline cracks on the back, head repainted.
