Egyptian Revival Carved Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Bureau, possibly Middle Atlantic States, c. 1825, the elliptical case of four cockbeaded drawers flanked by footed figural columns topped by bust-length carved bearded men wearing turbans, all on ring-turned tapering feet, later polychrome paint, (replaced wooden knobs, imperfections),ht. 38 3/4, wd. 43, dp. 24 1/8 in.
