Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Desk, probably eastern Massachusetts, c. 1810-15, two paneled hinged doors opening to eight valanced compartments and four drawers, on lower section of fold-out writing surface and case of string-inlaid drawers on flaring French feet, replaced oval brasses, (minor imperfections),ht. 49 1/4, wd. 38, dp. 18 1/2 in.
