Auction Broadside and Double Silhouette Portraits, America, 19th century, the printed broadside announcing an auction of the real estate of Richard Godfrey of Taunton, Massachusetts, November 8, 1819, in a tiger maple frame, and a double silhouette portrait identified in type as Mary and Daniel Wheaton in a flat veneered frame, ht. to 11 1/2, wd. 10 in.
Note: Richard Godfrey was a lifelong resident of Taunton, born November 12, 1734, and died December 24, 1818.

Broadside: few short tears at right edge of sheet, stain to the right of center, does not appear to be laid down, not examined out of frame; silhouettes toned, curved tear at upper edge of sheet above the woman, the collar of the man has a tear, not examined out of frame.
