Description:

Pair of Kiowa Beaded Hide Boy's Leggings, c. last quarter 19th century, with fringe and large edge-beaded flap on the outer leg, the ends with peyote-stitched beaded drops and one side with three hawkbells, yellow pigment overall, (some bead loss), lg. 31 in.

Provenance: The Van Kirke and Helen Nelson collection.
