Pair of Empire-style Gilt-bronze Five-light Candelabra, Continental, 19th century, chased armature with gadrooned bobeches suspending etched pendant lustres with floral vines, supported by a fluted column atop a classical figural bust crowned with wreath of pinecone garlands, all suspended by tripartite chimera monopedia and anthemion pendants, atop a shaped beaded onyx base, resting on toupie feet, ht. 28 in.

The bases are onyx. The edges to the onyx bases with abrasions and small chips. Each needs tightening. Surface wear to gilding, especially to palmettes.
