Victorian Mahogany Leather-top Desk, England, 19th century, rectangular top inset with tooled burgundy leather, surmounting a frieze of two drawers with wood pulls, one with brass stamped "HOBBS & CO. LONDON/LEVER/MACHINE MADE," all supported by turned legs on casters, ht. 30 1/8, wd. 46 3/4, dp. 30 in.

Split in case left side. Top and all surfaces with some scuffs, nicks, abrasions, some staining on leather surface. Turnings on each leg at collar is darker in on area. Wear to surfaces consistent with age and use.
