Description:

Silver Fish-form Etui, possibly late 18th/early 19th century, lacking hallmarks and interior components, with an articulated tail and hinged head with inset hardstone eyes, lid opens to a slotted interior, lg. 5 5/8 in.; together with an old, possibly original fitted case with handwritten note within.

Tail bent very slightly and with very minor dent to either side, also with very small area possibly over-soldered metal fatigue. Otherwise with minor nicks, wear throughout. Lacking any interior elements.

Case with wear, losses and deterioration to leather exterior and interior lining.
