Pitcher with loop handle, the lower body turquoise glazed, an upper band of matte green with raised figures of settlers on horseback and an ox-drawn covered wagon, beige interior, raised stamp 1932, maker's mark, Pisgah Forest, ht. 7 in.

Note: Walter B. Stephens (1876-1961) founded the pottery in 1914 best known for its turquoise and innovative crystalline raised glazes.
