Norman Carton (American, 1908-1980)
Flamenco XII Malaguñas. Signed "Carton" l.r., numbered and signed "1204/Carton" on the reverse, identified on two labels, one stamped with the artist's name and dated "1963" affixed to the stretcher, the other from the World House Galleries, New York, affixed to the reverse, inscribed "15/#7879" on stretcher. Oil on canvas, 15 x 15 in., framed. Condition: Craquelure, especially in areas of heaviest impasto.
