Two Turkoman Rugs, West Turkestan, early 20th century, a Yomud chuval featuring three rows of red, ivory, navy, and blue/green guls flanked by minor guls on a red/brown field, within a "syrga" main border, "running dog" minor border, staggered stylized blossom-patterned skirt, 2 ft. 8 in. x 4 ft. 3 in., and a Tekke rug with three rows of ivory, apricot, navy, and terra-cotta guls enclosed by "gurbaghe" minor guls, all within an eight-pointed star in octagon main border, concentric sawtooth diamond-patterned elems, 6 ft. 3 in. x 4 ft. 2 in.
