Tobias Silver Pair-cased Verge Watch, London, case No. 7175, c. 1760, the outer case with several early printed watch papers including one stating Peleg Collins, Clock and Watch Maker, and Jeweler/Coventry, R.I opens to the porcelain Arabic numeral dial marked Tobias/London and spade hands, full-plate gilt verge escapement chain fusee, key-wind and set movement signed Tobias/London with pierced balance bridge, brass three-arm balance, simple hairspring, engraved foot, and applied decoration and silvered regulator dial, dia. 60 mm, 134.2 g.
