Repousse Pair-cased Verge Watch and Chain, probably Switzerland, c. 1800, the 10kt gold repousse outer case with three raised figures on the back, opens to the gilt-brass watch case and porcelain Roman numeral dial with pastoral scene within the chapter, pierced gilt hands, swing-out key wind and set verge escapement movement signed H. Fly, chain fusee, finely pierced balance cock, engraved foot and balance surround, silvered regulator dial and squared baluster pillars, all with heavy gilt watch chain, dia. of inner watch case 44 mm, with outer case 50 mm.
