French Chinoiserie Clock and Garniture, c. 1880, the pagoda-style Belgian black slate case surmounted by a cast elephant head, 4-in. brass Roman numeral dial with raised center decoration, colorful inlay of flowers on side columns and a dragon below the dial, all on a heavy cast base with six scroll feet, eight-day time and strike movement marked with A and B flanking a star and a through-the-dial lever to start the pendulum, with matching dragon-handled square vases, clock ht. 21 in.
